Invalid checksum on (SS) notifications

I've been accumulating a lot of checksum errors from my application when receiving the following messages.

I only get them on SS messages and nothing else and you can see that there are only 2 distinct data packets there, but all the checksum values are different...???

I reported this to Elk technical support last December. It should be fixed in the latest firmware release. I am no longer seeing them with the latest 4.x and 5.x release.

The latest software upgrade looks like the RS-232 ASCII "SS" command checksum is correct. :D

There was a checksum calculation problem in an earlier version.
