Is there a way to sort the messages from newest to oldest on this BB? I can't find it. TIA

if you mean the forum threads, just scroll down once you selected the sub forum, and you should see a bunch of sorting options.

I want to sort the replies to questions with the newest reply on top and down form there. This way when you click on a topic the last post is at the top. Save a ton of time. The HS BB has this option now and I've grown to like it.

Same here. sometimes get confused going from forum to forum on which way is latest. But, like the latest on top like HS forum now supports.

maybe the new 2.0 version will support it, I am still working on upgrading the board without losing stuff or have major downtime.
