Jetstream - where to buy?

I think I'm going to give the Jetstream a try.

On the Centralite site, it doesn't list any online retailers, but I do see that ASI carries them.

I would like to buy through ASI, but want to make sure I'm getting the latest keypads... do I need to go through a dealer/distributor to get the latest and greatest, or will ASI have them?

How would I know the differences in the keypads?

thx,
Chris

Worthington Distribution has them in their latest catalog also...

I thought Worthington and ASI were the same company.

Call them, and speak to a salesman. Find out if they're a helpful bunch, and post back.

Ask for a salesman who is familiar with Centralite, and Jetstream.

Edit - oh, got it. As Wuench suggested, I'd buy from Worthington, before ASI. ;)

Worthington is intended for professionals/dealers and you need and account. ASI is the retail/public division.

What do you mean by 'latest keypads'. If you are referring to firmware, they are field flashable so no worries. If you are referring to the new style buttons they are not available quite yet.

Thanks.

I mean the the new style of buttons (per your other posts). I want to get started, but i dont want to buy 50 "old" buttons ;). Maybe I'll get a couple plus the rs232 bridge and the USB key and see how it works for me.

Yea, I would get some now to see if you would like it, some people don't mind the existing buttons. You can always fairly easily swap the buttons out later which will be very easy on a just a few. It's smarter to eval just a few anyway besides jumping in with 50. And if you ever find the source of your UPB noise and have a central controller (HW or SW) you can always run both in a hybrid fashion. I use both Jetstream and UPB and in fact have some Jetstream buttons controlling UPB devices this way.

I buy a fair bit from Worthington, so they will sell to the DIY market without any problems, and they are always happy to assist with questions.
