Just getting started

Hi Everyone,
My name is Steve, and I am just getting started in home automation. I've purchase a few z-wave outlets and appliance modules plus I have a Z-stick made by Aeotec. I have a remote and a master remote controller, but what I'd really like is some software with which I could make custom pages for different rooms and maybe even use it on an iPad or iPhone. I've kinda lurked on this site for a couple of weeks and have checked out the download section and looked at all the different software offerings that are out there. I just can't figure out which one would be comparable with my Z-Stick. I have Apple computers and WINDOWS PCs, so I'm flexible as far as what OS to use. Now I'm not sure if I'm going about this the wrong way. Any help and or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Homeseer software supports z-stick, you may want to get the free trial and see how you like it. It runs on Windows. Alternatively, you could forget the z-stick and get a hardware controller like MiCasa Vera that will control all your z-wave devices without need for a PC.
