I have had absolutely horrible reliability with Kwikset Zwave locks. I have metal doors for the two doors where they are installed. I am curious if others have seen problems using the Zwave locks on metal doors?
My front door is metal based of some sort... I assume aluminum (maybe?) and it works fine. That said, I have yet to actually control them, but both were added to my Zwave network via the Leviton VRUSB and communication tests show no issues.
