LCD Arming Countdown

Is it possible to display a countdown on the LCD, instead of having it beep, when arming in away mode? I know the beeping can be disabled but then you have no idea how much time you have.

Not on the console. You could do something on your 5.7e though & Automation Studio though.

On Exit Delay -> Jump to page CountDown
OnLoad -> Delay 1 Seconds, then Jump to CountDown 29
OnLoad-> Delay 1 Seconds, then Jump to CountDown 28
...

You might space out the intervals to save from having to create 30 pages ;-)

This was one of those things that made me go WTF? when I was installing my Omni. That, and the fact that the door chime was a weak "beep" and both my panels never seem to "beep" at the same time. None of this was an issue with my previous Elk unit.

That is one think I miss from my Elk. Also the one that bugs me is not having a separate 'Ready' light and Armed light.

I suppose it might be useful to see the initial exit time when you first arm the system so you have an idea how much time you'll have to exit, but beyond that I don't think many people will want to look at the display as it counts down. The decision we made was to speed up the beeping when you have less than 10 seconds left. That way you don't need to look at the display, but can still know if you'll have time to exit.
