Hi folks!
I feel like there's been very little new innovation with this brand lately. Is that writing on the wall for Leviton/Omni -- do they have a roadmap that involves security?
I ask this because, with all the newer wireless, cloud, Internet type options coming on the market at the consumer level, shouldn't we expect some revitalization of a wired solution like Leviton Omni to refresh itself?
My cabinet has so many "add on" boards and modules, it looks and feels more like a hobbyist project than a modern day security/automation system. I guess that's a good thing because of the ala'carte nature...?
Thus, my question... did CES reveal any new innovation in terms of this Omni/ELK space where we're going to see some of these brands die off and/or get refreshed/renewed, or perhaps some of you saw new brands coming to compete in this space?
Flame Protection: I don't operate as a professional in this market, I am just a automation hobbyist that started back with OnQ building/wiring my own homes since then.
Any comments/insights?
Happy Friday!
