So two days ago we had a pretty good electrical storm during the night. I was woken up by a hit right next to the house. The next day, the house started acting flaky. The X10 switches just weren't functioning at their normal reliability. It was almost like I needed an X10 filter somewhere except that the problem appeared to be generalized over most of my X10 installation. Then, slowly, over a period of a few days, the problem abated and my X10 reliability improved to the point where now everything is just about normal again.
Weird. Almost like some sort of electrical residual changed the impedence of my house wiring and then slowly bled off over a period of a few days. Interestingly, my UPB installation wasn't affected.
