Logitech Harmony remote & HAI Omnipro II

Our 6 button scene switches (38A00-1) have a built in IR receiver designed to work with our IR Scene Switch Remote (38A14-1). I don't know about the Harmony's learning capability or if Logitech provides the HAI IR codes, but with my Pronto the HAI scene switch was in the database so it was a piece of cake to control it.

The Pronto also supports the HAI IP protocol for more complex actions and to allow status feedback, but if all you want to do is trigger a scene or something the IR works great.

To expand on this:

Does anyone know of a way to allow a logitech Harmony to control lights without having to point the remote at the Scene Switch Remote on the wall? Is there an IR reciever that can be plugged into the Omni Pro II to control the lights?

My Logitech sends an RF signal to an IR blaster in my media closet. The media closet contains the Omni Pro II, and I would like the IR blaster to control the HAI lighting through the Omni Pro II.

Torque what did you end up doing for the Omni Pro II lighting remote? I plan to do something similar but with the 6 button scene switches (38A00-1) from HAI. What kind of remote are you using. I have the new Touch from Logitech.

I am using my Harmony remote to control a HAI 6 button scene switch. I mounted one of the Logitech IR blasters to the bottom of my wall monted tv. Its discrete and is able to blast the signal to both the scene switch in a hallway to the left of the tv as well as the tv. I ran a 2.5mm extension cable from the main Logitech blaster in my a/v closet in another room to the blaster under the tv.

This works fine but I would love another option to give me control beyond a 6 button scene switch.

Thanks for the prompt response. Today I plugged my 6 button scene switch in to a socket in the av closet where my blasters are. Ive been working on PC Access to make each of the scenes also control other adjacent room lights. However when it comes to blasting an IR from my Logitech Touch I am missing the codes. Where did you get them and what is your remote??
