Looking for an under the cabinet LCD

I am having issues finding a good deal on an under the cabinet LCD for the kitchen. It doesn't have to have radio or any other advanced functionality, since I will be hooking it up to an MVP. Most local electronics stores don't even carry them anymore, so I am hoping someone knows where I can find a cheap (but decent quality) unit. Your input would be appreciated!

I have a Sylvania LED/UCW/22/W Unit and I am not impressed with it. Not real white or bright and Local Sensing Currents from Appliance Modules keep it about 1/2 brightness even off.

It doesn't look like there are many good units out there, the few I do find have bad reviews. Do people no longer install these anymore, or is there a better solution?

I have not seen anything myself.
So for now I have a GE BriteStick under one of my counters. It is of the fluorescent type.

I'm just looking for a simple and affordable under the cabinet TV, doesn't have to be LED based (didn't think they even existed in that size).

Those units end up costing the same as the high end under the cabinet TV's, so not sure what to do yet <_<

Something like this should serve the purpose, may not be the largest screen, but you sure cant beat the price!

You may even want to go with something like this, and one of the hundreds of choices of under cabinet retractable mounts. The monitor and mount would be just around $100.

I was looking at those GPX screens, but they have extremely bad reviews everywhere  I was considering going with one of those mounts, and find a regular LCD, but I can't find one small enough. I am thinking 8"-10", but it has to have the VESA holes.

I think I've posted pictures of my kitchen "under cabinet" install but I can't find them. Maybe I've only shown them during chat?

Anyway, see attached. Obviously, it's a DIY arrangement. I could not make any permanent changes to the cabinet so it's mounted on a home-made expansion post.

In the first picture it's being driven by an MVP through my av switch, by the way.

My local Target always has one or two models in the electronics section. They are not too cheap though. If I recall they are about $400.
