M1 disarm with higher security

Hello,

I would like to disarm the M1G with both a know code and unknown physical device so if either is taken there is still an unknown security
needed. (passcode & key fob) Also passcode can be changed on regular basis.

Is there a good way to do this with rules and outputs.... I just can not figure this out to date. I asked Elk but ther was not help available on this.

The fob replaces a passcode so that is not enough.
Any suggestions?

Hi,

You should be able to do this but I haven't tested these because I haven't got a swipe reader connected to my system right now.

1. Register a swipe card per user and set its action to "access".
2. Add the following rule:
Whenever exit timer expires
and system is armed away
then disable user user1
then disable user user2
.... and so on for each user
3. Add the following rule:
Whenever system is disarmed
then enable user user1
then enable user user2
... and so on for each user
4. Add the following rule for each user (ie. repeat but change user1 to user 2, user3 and so on)
Whenever access keypad1 (or any keypad)
and last user is user1
then enable user user1

This configuration will enable a user code to arm the system and also enable a user code to disarm the system if it is armed to anything other than away. Once a valid card is presented then only the user associated with that card is enabled, allowing the code to be entered to disarm the system. Any other user will still be disabled and unable to disarm the system. Once the system is disarmed then all users are re-enabled to permit them to arm the system.
