M1 Input expander pull up resistor numbers??

Hi Guys,

I am wanting to monitor and right rules based around a 0V to 4.8V voltage change. I need to remove the 8 pull up resistors on the M1 input expander board, can anyone help me with the "R" numbers?? I have the right tools to remove them just need to know which ones.

Appreciate any help.

If Spanky doesn't respond I'm hoping znelbok will have the answers you seek:

Also, you may want to try leaving the resistors in. If your sensor/input has a voltage drive that can overcome the pullup resistor, it may read correctly.

Thanks BSR,

I believe I have worked it out using a multimeter and some logic.

No I had to remove the resistors as the LED drive impendance was too high and the pull up resistor prevailed :) ..... For future reference on the following M1XIN REV.E board the following 16 resistors

Zn 1 R4
Zn 2 R18
Zn 3 R19
Zn 4 R20
Zn 5 R26
Zn 6 R27
Zn 7 R28
Zn 8 R25
Zn 9 R29
Zn10 R32
Zn11 R31
Zn12 R30
Zn13 R24
Zn14 R23
Zn15 R22
Zn16 R21

They are all SMD 2000ohm marked 2001 on the body.

I am now seeing the LED drive voltage at the Zone input so all good, I am now trying to write the synchronosing rule. Hmmm a bit of a head scratcher. Will keep trying an it now luck post a seperate thread.

Thanks for the pointer to the thread...

I don't remember off hand but it appears that you do have the right one identified.

Mick

Hi Mick.

Confirmed the correct ones are listed now have my voltage sensing application working a treat. It needs to be qualified that the resistors I have mentioned are applicable to the version board stated...so others please check your board revision before adopting those R numbers.
