M1 XEP

I installed the M! XEP this evening. For the most part, everything went ok. However, now when I try to change any of the settings on the XEP, it does not let me. I can connect to the M1 via the network, but I cannot access the built in server, the application just hangs forever. Also when I try to update the settings, i get the following message.
System did not respond. Connection may have been terminated.
I have not been terminated as I can still connect to the M1.
Any ideas? This thing is EXTRMELY frustrasting. Also, is there any way to reset to factory default?

Thanks
Brian

hmm. spoke with tech support today. It appears that if you try to center the area name in the center of the keypad by entering spaces inthe RP software, the internal webserver hangs and causes problems. As soon as I took the spaces our of the name, the problem went away.

That's extremely interesting. Could you use underscores in the mean time to bypass this issue?

Now that you mention it, this sounds very familiar. But I was unable to find the previous posts. I seem to recall it caused problems for the serial protocol also. If you only have one area, I don't think it even displays in the keypad, or at least there is an option to turn the area name off. I suspect most of us only use one area and therefore never tried to center it in the display.

Yea, I guess you could use _ or * or whatever. But why would a webserver have an issue with this? I mean, its only displaying whats in the system just like everything else. Oh well!

%20 is HTML-speak for space - you'll see that in some web links where the title would otherwise have a space.

We worked on that issue and thought we had it fixed. Do you have the latest software releases?

Scratching my head!
