M1KPNAV F keys not displaying

I have set up the m1KPNAV. Set up the F keys for duress (fire, police, medical). When you look at the screen, it says "F1- Sync Required". When i push F1, it displays "press F1 again for Police" or something similar. But the F key still says Sync required. Anyone know how to have it display the proper label?

Did you perform a sync?  That menu option is a bit tricky to get to, can't remember off hand as its been a while, but you have to go to a 'second' page on some menu.
 
Also, make sure you are running the latest firmware for the Nav.

I just bought it, but I will check the firmware. I could not find any sync but I will look again. Do you need to sync on all keypads? i thought this was done through RP...

No, the Nav has a sync function that will let it 'get' the custom naming features set up in RP.  Do me a favor and send me a PM around 4:00 PM Pacific and I'll send you some screen shots of how to get there.

IIRC you need a certain version or higher of RP as well.

Came home, did the sync, and perfect. Everything now comes up. Thanks.
