M1XSLU and RadioRA3?

Does anyone know if there is a way to connect an Elk M1 system to RadioRA3? I have the M1XSLU module but it requires an RS232 cable connection to the old RadioRA2 main repeater. The RR3 main repeater has no such connector, only RJ45.

Thanks!

When I check, the following Lutron services are supported. RadioRA 3 moves to PoE, so that RJ45 is an ethernet jack. At this time I cannot find any integration solutions for direct Elk M1G -> RadioRA 3. The last I checked, only Samsung Smarthings had a RadioRA 3 integration. While round about, you could do Lutron RadioRA 3 -> Smarthings -> Home Assistant -> Elk M1G integration via Serial or M1EXP.

This would only be necessary until the Home Assistant integration for RadioRA 3 is released.

Elk-M1G Lutron support

  • Caséta Wireless Lighting And Shade Control Products (No Thermostat Support)

  • RA2 Select Lighting And Shade Control Products (No Thermostat Support)

  • RadioRA 2 Lighting, Thermostat And Shade Control Products

  • Homeworks QS Lighting, Thermostat, And Shade Control Products

It's a LEAP, but the only integrations I can find are from here: https://radiora3.lutron.com/us/en/whats-new#integration
And a description of LEAP is here: https://support.lutron.com/us/en/pr...ration/Lutron-s-LEAP-API-Integration-Protocol

HomeSeer, Home Assistant and many others are just not supported (yet). But Google, Alexa and Apple's Homekit is.

For the significant expense, I cannot see the benefit of RadioRA 3 over a quality Z-wave, Zigbee or for that matter, Matter installation.

If you purchased a home with it already installed, you'll need those cloud based services for now.
