Misc. questions

Maybe the guys at HAI can help me out with these few questions:
1. Is the NDVR fully compatible with the incoming 57.e and the Omnitouch portable? By the time I get done with the surveillance system I will need 3 NDVR's for a total of 11 cameras. Any issues?
2. Is there any significant loss of features by going with the NDVR/analog camera setup vs. a full IP camera setup? Is the extra cost of IP cameras justified? I am currently wired for both. Seems to me that the outdoor analog cameras are not only much cheaper (even when including the cost of a server) but they also seem to be much more capable for night ops than their IP counterparts.
3. Will the NDVR be able to automatically display video on the new touchscreens when trigered by an event (such as camera captured motion)?
4. Can the NDVR be linked to a WHS to backup the NDVR or even to be used as the primary recording device?
5. I am more than eager to contribute to our slow economy by purchasing a few of the new touchscreens. Any time frame as to when I will be able to do this patriotic duty?
Thanks guys.

Kinda but this would be IP cam dependent, the bigger issue is you wired for both so you can use IP solutions in the future as their capabilities and cost catch up. Several features are only availeble through more powerful DVRs and some features are only availble from IP cameras sometimes the same feature with varing quality is available from both.

You might look past the NDVR as the only solution, many other exist.
