I just got my HAI security/automation system running and now its time to upgrade my TV and associated items!
The goal is to have a TV in the family room, 1 in the master bed, and a "whole home" audio system with zones in the Kitchen, living room, office, and spare bedroom. I imagine I dont need an audio zone in the master and family room due to having TVs/etc there.
To integrate with the HAI panelI am planning on using the HAI Hi-FI whole home audio system.
The big question... what kind of receiver should I get? I'd like something that can feed and be controlled by living room and bedroom. Is that doable? The big reason is to avoid having equipment in the bed room. I'd just like to mount the TV and speakers in the master and be done with it.
Also. what is a good way to deal with providing control over my MP3 collection in the rooms? The HAI system will allow me to choose that particular input for sound in a room but I need to find a way to choose what MP3 to listen to.
