Moose Z1100 Closing Program Switch

Please excuse such a basic question, but I'm a newbie.

I have a Moose Z1100 (the Test Date was 8/15/85!), which is working fine except I want to change some of the settings in the ADDRESS level (I have my PROGRAM AUTHOIZATION CODE). I also have a PDF of the Z1100 "Version I" Manual that shows the Program Switch in the center on the left side of the motherboard. On my unit, the Program Switch is on the right side (and no, it's not upside down).

The Manual says to "Close the Program Switch." My eyes at my age are not that great but what I see is a wire on a blue background that has a loop back to the motherboard and then back up and parallel to the MB. Beneath it is a wire extending out of the MB perpendicular to the MB and not in contact with the other wire. I'm familiar with using jumpers on computer motherboards, but that won't work here since the wires are at right angles to each other.

I don't want to break anything. Is the looped wire movable, or do I need some type of small clip to close the contact between the two wires?

The wire "extending out of the MB perpendicular to the MB" has a hook at the end. Yes, it is VERY difficult to see, but it's there. Push the wire "parallel to the MB" down until it catches under the hook.
