multiple zwave hubs?

How readily do any of the various zwave hubs deal with more than one of them on a given network?

As in, can both hubs see the devices?  Or are they joined to just one at a time?  I ask because I'm experimenting with a couple of them and want to avoid stepping on the inevitable land mines that come from trying to do more than is actually possible.

This isn't for my own use, more looking toward what could I potentially put at the in-laws house, and a vacation house.  Something more along the lines of 'set and forget' not tweak and fiddle.  For the latter I'll do that with a system at home.

No, I'm not looking for a sales pitch or discussion as to whose product I should be using.  Let's leave that to another thread.

I'm asking more about how the zwave devices and their network are "supposed to behave" versus are "known to behave".  Because we all know what the marketing and literature claims doesn't always jibe with the real world.

Anyone dealt with trying to use more than one hub (or USB dongle into a computer-based solution) and a mix of devices?

If memory serves there can only be one primary controller in a Zwave network. If both hubs act as secondary controllers it might work.
