Yep Martin, I got an email from Bill today. :lol:AutomatedOutlet said:
Why not, my speaker mount worked with the bosch motion sensor :lol:tuantu said:Martin
The mount you show is a DSC part number so does it work with the mentioned Bosch motion detector?
So it is wired as mentioned in Fig-2 of the, Optional Four(4) State Zone wiring with Tamper ?Digger said:The wiring method is a 4 state zone and its in the ELK Manual. Its a neat setup.

As per the manual, this connection is done with 2 EOL and 1 Tamper switch. But in the pic I see 1 EOL and the other seems like a tamper switch(?).
Ok, I will contact AO again to find out what the width is that attaches to the mounting sensor. I'm hoping, it's less than 1.75".tuantu said:It may or may not work because your Bosch Motion detector physical size (width) is small and the DSC bracket is big so it would look weird. Also, the mounting holes on the DSC bracket may not line up with your Bosch so you have to drill new holes (no big deal) but it is another thing that you have to modify slightly.
IF AO sells Bosch then why can't they get the real Bosch bracket? This is all IF
I'm sorry, these old eyes still don't see two resistors. I guess that means you did a neat install.v1rtu0s1ty said:And yes, look at my first picture again, I have 2 resistors installed.
Actually, the shot was bad. I saw many noise on the picture. Plus the compression of the jpeg file. Your eyes are fine. :lol:rfdesq said:I'm sorry, these old eyes still don't see two resistors. the exact physical diagram is http://www.4290greenfieldlanehome.com/motionsensor2.txt

have fun!!!
I believe that Neil's Bosch PIR's have real tamper switches. That's why he used the EOL wiring diagram from the ELK installation manual.surdev said:One last question, did you use the Tamper switch OR this technique was used, saying there is tamper switch, but there isn't one really.
