Need Alarm Monitoring Company

All,

I'm hoping some folks here can recommend a few alternative alarm monitoring companies (I'm posting on the HomeSeer board, too). If you have one you like, would you mind posting their name and contact info, please?

I just signed up for Next Alarm last month, and things seemed fine until this evening. We accidentally tripped the alarm, and when they called my wife gave them the abort code. Sorry, they said, that's not correct... She handed me the phone, and I repeated the code. No, they insisted...

I rushed to my computer, logged in quickly to my account, and sure enough, right there on my account was the abort code I was giving them! Well, a few minutes later I was chatting in the kitchen with the local police (who, thankfully, are terrific). They had to give me a warning, and if others occur, I'll be contributing to the township's coffers, I imagine.

I've lodged a customer ticket with Next Alarm, but since I'm still in my 30 day trial period with them, I think I want to try someone else.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Dunno about other folks, but I do know that if you have multiple codes, you need to give them the one you signed up with.

I made life easier on wife, hard on me, by making the code the wife's one. Mine only works to arm/disarm the elk, not call off the NA dogs.

All calls are recorded. Have NextAlarm pull the recording for that time period. It could just have been an operator mistake. Unfortunately, the next time it will be a financially costly one.
