Need help enrolling ZigBee KwickSet DB with PC Access

Can enroll it with HAI Zigbee controller but can not with PC Access. Also, I have been seeing some posts that raise concerns. I bought this for another door in the kitchen. I have an HAI outside access keypad that sends a message to drop the magnetic door look on my outer courtyard door. The next door is to the kitchen where I put the ZigBee so when that outside door gets unlocked, so does the kitchen door. When I lock the outside door, so will the Kitchen door.

Was I only hoping for this?:)

Thanks, Jim

I'm not sure I exactly understand your question, but I can tell you HAI's Zigbee is a bit of a work-in-progress, so its likely not you.  ^_^
First, if you haven't already, upgrade to the newest panel firmware, AND upgrade the firmware in the ZigBee controller.  In theory the controller can upgrade the firmware in the locks, but I have never seen the locks firmware available.

Next, I'm guess you don't have any signal problems, but this was a big issue for me. Zigbee locks don't transmit very far, and until I added other line-powered Zigbee devices, signal strength was hit-or-miss.

If the Zigbee controller can control the locks, that is fine, there is no need to have it programmed from PC Access, but if you want it programmed from PC Access FULLY clear the programming from both the lock AND the Zigbee controller AND the panel.  You need to store a 0000 in the panel for it to accept a new pairing.  Once the lock or the controller or the panel has another pairing, it won't accept a new pairing, so you need to clear everything and start from scratch.

I can't get my Zigbee locks enrolled using either PC Accress or the controller. Does anyone have any tips?

Reset the entry in PC Access to 0000 (unpaired) for the lock and download that to the panel.  Clear all the pairing in the lock, then try again.

Also note, the range between lock and ZIM is quite short, so you may have to disconnect the ZIM and bring it close to the lock to pair.

dcsada, did you ever figure this out. I'm also having a problem trying to enroll my Zigbee Yale locks.

What version firmware does your ZIM have?  I've found issues with any Leviton/HAI firmware newer than v.14.26 working with Kwikset and Yale zigbee locks.
