This morning, I noticed one of my 3-way INSTEON switchlinc is not working (LED not on). Thinking that the switch is dead, I replaced it with a new one but still the same problem. Then I tested the original switch that I thought was dead and found out that the switch is OK.
So, I took a voltmeter and measure the voltage between line & neutral and the result is 50v. I am guessing this is causing the switchlinc to not working, but I am at a loss of why it suddenly happens while the 3-way circuit had been working fine for weeks.
I followed the instructions on hooking up the 3-way circuit, I measured the voltage at the secondary switch and it is 120v, but at the primary, it becomes 50v. What could have caused this, and what's the best way to troubleshoot this? Thanks.
