Personally automation is a hobby here such that I have both software and hardware automation doo whats.
The forum users here primarily utilize Elk M1 / Leviton HAI combo hardware panels and software posted here by automation software owners/vendors.
Ask the software owners and vendors yourself here relating to their software stuff (IE: CQC or Homeseer or ....)
The vendors are friendly folks as the rest of the Cocoontect forum users.
Ask away; many CT folks have favorites.

That would be impossible to answer without knowing your budget, if you are going to do it yourself or hire someone to install it, or knowing what you want to accomplish? You can get a Wink hub for about $50, or a Control4 system for $50K. You can do voice control, but are you saying you want a mic in every room, or are you going to be speaking into your phone?
