New Build looking to automate life a little

Hi my name is Shane and i am currently building a medium size home and would like to be able to automate some circuit's of the house via a relay in the  breaker box . I would like to also control this from a pc if possible . I would like to combine security,lighting,audio, and automation.  Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated

I don't think you want to do this by controlling a breaker box relay.  That's probably not going to pass code anywhere.  There's a number of technologies that will do what you want with a PC interface - UPB, Insteon, or Z-Wave are probably the ones to be looking at.  Most of them can also be integrated with your FACP (security system) for advanced automation.
