New HAI OmniLT, old Ademco DT motion detector

Folks,
I checked the motion detector at idle, withe the 1000-ohm EOL resitsor. Reads 986 ohms. Why would OmniLT say "Not Ready"?

It would say Not Ready if your panel wasn't enabled to use EOL resistors.

Thanks for the reply. Panel is enabled for EOL resistors; all other zones are fine and have 1000 ohm EOL resistors.

Try to just put the 1000 ohm resister across the two terminals in the panel. If its says not ready, the panel is defective. Otherwise, your wiring has a problem.
