New I/O Device

We have finally released our new 8 Channel I/O Device it comes in an 8 relay version and a 4 relay version.

It is based on the DS2408 1-Wire chip, has SPDT relays, opto-isolated AC/DC inputs and a few other nice features. You can find the user's manual at the links above.

Eric, what is the "overhead" of hardware needed to use some of these 1-wire devices. For instance, the 8-relay board. If I wanted to have it controllable by a PC via RS232/RS485, what else would I need?

If you don't have an existing 1-Wire network then you would need a USB or Serial Adaptor, a power supply for the relay board, some CAT5 cable and some software that supports a DS2408 1-Wire chip.
