Trevor, if you want to advertise for SmartHome, you really should get in touch with CT staff first. Since there seems to be a technical issue which made the front page announcement disappear, I will leave this thread alone.

These look pretty cool.

One question about future products - any requests for an occupancy sensor?

I use some dual-tech (PIR, ultrasonic) sensors for closts and bathrooms that work really well. it would be really nice if something like this was instreon enabled so that I could get a status and control.

I realize the wireless could work for this, but the built-in style sensors I'm thinking of would eliminate the need to change the motion detector battery and probably perform better in this situation.

I am using the Lutron - decora style sensors.

Just a suggestion...

Hmm, I'm thinking more of a wire in device like this:

I use this in bathrooms and closets. You don't have the worry about batteries.

A wire-in outdoor motion sensor that could mount to a flood fixture would be nice also. Again, no batteries, outdoor and mounts nicely to an existing fixture. Kinda like the RAB X10 motion sensor.

The DW100 is very cool. If it had a low-volt relay in it for its on-off state, then it could be very useful.

The sensors look too much like camera lens, I think the DW100 would scare people as my bathroom light switch.

:-)

It takes a little getting used to, but once you get used to it, it's nice. walk in the bathroom, lights come one, leave, lights go off. My motivation for this is that my wife ALWAYS leaves lights on and despite my "training" this was the only thing that worked. The DW100 is just one example, the lutron devices are a little less obtrusive and the switch on the unit works just like a switch, but after a period on inactivity on the room, it turns off.
