Updated the HAI OPII panel to most current revision of firmware and upgraded the PCA software to most current revision of software a few weeks back.

PCA - V3.9.0.631
FW - V3.9
Note if utilizing older PCA (V3.8); Firmware shows up as V3.8.

No issues so far.

1 - Time has been perfect with literally no drift in a few weeks now.
2 - No communications issues as noted earlier.
3 - No issues with Omnistat2
4 - Software update still showed an error; but it seemed to work itself out of the error innocuously.

I had one unexplained network connection drop out; none since.

I've been following some of your experiences with time drift and coms. Glad to see you got things working.

Any clue what the source of the problem really was?

What's the issue with pc access showing an error? Seems to be an ongoing problem. Maybe I will wait for V4 which hopefully fixes this ongoing issue. SJ

Any clue what the source of the problem really was?

There were two issues.

One one just that of the PCA update. Innocuous and not that much of a concern.

The update with the software worked fine even though it showed the error. It was just something that I saw when updating via XP or W2003. Not detremental to the operation and use of PCA.

The other issue was that of communications / time drift.

Communications issues would come up between just the Omnistat / Omnitouch on the serial bus.

I no longer see these errors.

I have no idea why I was seeing the acute time drift where it would be up to 30 or more than 30 minutes off in a day.

It is no longer present from what I can tell.

My time has remained in sync and my Omnistat thermostat is working fine relative to its com with the HAI OPII and Omnitouch screens.

The Florida OPII is the older style board which requires a chip upgrade. I had purchased an Omnistat 2 for FL and was kind of sitting on the fence regarding installation of it and still may go to Zigbee. Now that I am not seeing any issues I may just upgrade the rom on that OPII instead and be done with it.
