NX-148 Beep Beep Beeping... Help

Just go my NX8E installed, but the moment I plug it in, the NX148 keypad begins beeping and will not stop. I have tried to turn the beeping off, but have yet to find the correct location/segment combination that would allow me to begin programming the unit. Any suggestions?

Stupid question? Did you try entering in the master code? (Maybe twice) There may be some trouble that is causing it to sound.

I am able to get into the location/segment portion, I am able to enter the master code when I start programming, but unable to get beeping to stop...
