I normally have my outgoing CallerID blocked on my phone line, but for certain important reminders, I want the M1 to remove the block, since I tend to screen calls going to my cell. I prefixed my phone number with "*82,," and this works great the first time it calls me.
However, if I don't complete/answer the first call, it will call again (I set it for a maximum of 2 attempts). But this time, the CallerID is blocked again. So for some reason, it is only using the "*82,," during the first attempt. I can't figure out what kind of bug would strip that prefix for any successive attempts (unless there is code in place to actually do this), but I am also not sure how it could be a phone company problem.
I have been able to duplicate this issue every time, and also tried "*82,". Any suggestions? Thanks!
