Omni 5.7 Concern

Yesterday did a reset on my OmniTouch 5.7 (there have been no issues with it being on 24/7 now for a while now).

The reason I reset it was that I "forgot" what console number I had set it to. It booted fine upon reboot/reset. The only issue is that I cannot get to the console address screen when I touch the logo for 3 seconds. Other than that the touchscreen is responsive just fine to touch. Is there another way to see the console address? The address selection is not on the screen with the brightness, contrast, sound, etc. When I press on the logo for 3 seconds the top text part of the screen blinks once.

Firmware Version is 2.3.9 and Screen Version is 9.

I dont think there is a way to set the console numbers on the IP screens, since they are not on the controller's bus.

I have the first gen OmniTouch 5.7 which only connects via the RJ45 to hub or panel using 4 wires only. I'm guessing that because its working it's not at the same address as the other consoles but I just wanted to know what the address was such that I could document it.

You said 5.7 not 5.7e and you are talking about pressing the HAI logo in the lower right corner of the main screen. It is designed to be hard to accidentally hit but sometimes it can be hard to hit on purpose.

I too occasionally have problems getting to the setup page on some, usually older, 5.7 touchscreens. Many things can affect the sensitivity of the screens but using the tip of my finger, or finger nail rather than the pad of my finger usually does it. You might also try a stylus from a PDA or something similar. DO NOT use a metal pointer or anything sharp that could damage the touch surface.
