Omni II Programming Guide?

Is there a more comprehensive programming guide available for the Omni II other than the Owner's Manual? If so, where is it?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I have the "application guide" but it's dated 2007! While it gives a number of interesting examples it's not really a programming guide. Also, I was looking for something more up to date. I guess I'll have to sit through the classes. Ugh.

Now that Leviton bought HAI I hope they update all the documentation. They certainly updated the prices!

There is an "HAI Applications" section of their Knowledge Base that shows lots of examples of how to do things, that may help you along....

Also if you go to Worthington Distribution's web site, they have a lot of webinars on performing HAI programming.

The docs for PCAccess are atrocious.
This is one area where HAI definitely dropped the ball.
Automation Studio is even worse.

The Worthington seminars are pretty good.

Most of the actual programming is fairly intuitive.

The best thing to do is scroll through all of the trigger options, the conditionals and the actions.
You'll get a good idea of the logic flow.

I have a degree in computer programming and I'm very adept in programming the old HomeVision so eventually I'll figure it out. Unfortunately, HomeVision decided not to pursue their product line any longer and stopped production thus my switch to Omni. Programatically the HV could do so much more than the Omni. I'm having trouble converting some of my HV macros to Omni code and learning what new things Omni can do. The lack of good documentation only makes it worse. Someone could make a tidy sum writing a "Omni Programming for Dummies" book! I'd buy it in a heartbeat. :-)
