OmniPro II - Zone Question

So I have my office setup with all the zones. They are all setup as Away Int for zone types. Which is generally fine for us, so if something is tripped its instant burglar (except front/rear doors).

However sometimes im having employees forgetting to close their office doors, and in all honesty their office doors don't really need to be setup as Away Int (for the most part they all have motions anyway).

What kind of zone could I set it up so that if someone leaves their door open the system will still arm, but if the door's status is changed (from NOT READY to SECURE for example) the alarm will go off?

Zone doesn't matter. Turn on the feature called "Auto Bypass." Then "not ready" zones will be ignored, but my question would be, why are these trigger zones anyway? It might be a bit overkill. It only takes one zone to trigger an alarm. All others are just a cause of false alarms.

That is correct enable auto bypass. Maybe have an announcement if any zones are open that shouldnt be because now the alarm will arm no matter which state the zone is in. I wish you could define this on the HAI at zone level so you can make sure certain zones are closed but others will auto bypass but it is all or nothing. Also make sure the ac or open windows will not close the doors or push them open or the alarm will go off.

Windows don't open (which sucks, we're in a brand new building but we can't open our windows). AC doesnt come on till the morning but we have big heavy wooden doors, nothings moving them.

Yeah i could turn on the auto-bypass feature but then people might leave our main reception door open. Its a little overkill as there are only 3 possible ways in, outside of glass windows (which isnt feasible for a thief, the windows are on the main road across from a firehouse, so its well protected, plus we're in a very safe area).... but when we built our new office, we put alarm points EVERYWHERE.

I guess for now i'll just keep it as an Aux one since its not really necessary.

You could write some code that checks the status of that zone when the system is armed, and issues a message or something if the zone is open.
