Omnitouch 5.7e beeps

Does anyone know if and how the sounder in my 5.7e can be turned off? It beeps when one of my motion detectors sense movement with security turned off. I turned the volume down as low as possible but still get a subdued beep. Wife not liking the beeps!

If the beeper in the 5.7e goes off on motion, it most likely is do to some programming on the Omni. To fix that we need to know what the program lines are on the panel. Do you have Dealer PC access? The 5.7e will not just beep when motion detectors are tripped unless programmed.

Interesting. I have no programs except a button for my sprinklers. I do have pc access dealer, and it shows my consoles; two key pads and two 5.7e’s, but not my two 5.7e specifically. I does have a tab for Omnitouch 7 which I do not have.
I will look at the security system motion detector settings to see if there is a there there! Will post findings.

The 5.7e is configured with either "Automation Studio" or "OmniTouch Pro". Do you have either one of them?
