OPII and Comcast Digital Voicemail

HI -

I'm slowly getting my OPII up and running... 4 doors are now working plus the console!

One quesiton I have on wiring to the phone system - how do people deal with the OPII and Voicemail? I have Comcast Digital Phone with voicemail and its configured to go to voicemail after so many rings. To call the OPII, I can configure it to pick up after so many rings. Since the OPII should be first on the line, it gets first crack at the # of rings.

The question is, how do I get both features on the same line? I want to be able to call my OPII, but I also want to be able to have access voicemail. When people call and we are not home, I want voicemail to pick up and not the OPII.

Chris,

To connect to the OmniPro II, call your home and let the phone ring once or twice. Hang up, then call again within a minute. The OmniPro II will answer on the first ring.
 
i did read something about that late last night, but it was late and i didn't connect the two :huh:.

How do I shut off the TTS functions? I never really use them. I can't find it in the installation manual.

Answering my own question - couldn't find the reference in the manual but fould it on PC Access.
