pc based dvr with DVRNET soft , what r my options??

hello everyone i need alot of help
i have placed a video surveillance card on my pc with 6 cams and a DVRNET 880 Kodicom software , the system is working fine but i know nothing about it ,
is there a way to see or use the desktop on my pc while in the same time keep recording ???? and how can i see the bix and box files if i want to check them out on my laptop at home?? is there a player of a file converter that can help??

I just posted about this twice today, but my personal recommendation is "ZoneAlarm". The product is Linux-based. However, you can run it from within a virtualmachine such as VirtualBox if need be. I hope this helps give you some ideas.

I assume you mean ZoneMinder, not ZoneAlarm?
