PCS UPB Switch Tripping Breaker?

I have a PCS UPB dimmer in my garage that trips a breaker. Most of the time (not always) when I turn the garage light on the breaker (in the fuse box) trips. It happens immediately.

If I reset the breaker and try again it will usually trip the breaker again. However, after 3 or 4 resets then it's fine.

This just started happening this week...the switch has been here for almost 1 year. I stopped using it until I can diagnose this further (this weekend).

I'm just curious if anyone else has seen this problem with UPB switches?

Is it a GFCI Breaker (assuming it is since its a garage)? If so look for an inbalance. Did you share a neutral?

It could be something external to the UPB switch. The comment about the GFCI is a good one. You could also substitute in an ordinary non UPB switch and see if it still happens.
I have approx 55 UPB devices, and have never seen this happen with any of them.
