Problem hooking up two sirens to the Elk m1 gold

I have two sirens that I want to hook up to the elk. The first one is the one that comes with the package. That one I am going to hook up to output one.
The other is a basic outdoor Siren . But when I hooked it up to output two, no sounds came out. I tried to move it to output one, and nothing happened either.
Am I doing something wrong\? the siren has a intrusion detection part, but i only wires up the two wires (Negative and W).

Thank you

The first thing you need to do is to distinguish between a self-contained siren and a speaker. A speaker is a passive device meaning that the hardware to make it speak or make any sort of sound is not part of the speaker. It needs an audio driver/amplifier in order to make sound. The term siren is often used to describe both a passive device like a speaker or a self-contained siren that is capable of making it's own sounds by applying the required voltage to it.

Out1 is for speakers only but there are two types of outputs on the Elk's out2. If you want to connect a speaker to out2 then G26 should be set to siren output. If you want to connect a siren to out2 then you should set G26 to voltage.
