I have replaced a failed NX6 with a new NX6v2 board after a power failure.
I cannot access the master programming using the default master code. The board was new in a sealed factory box when I received it. I've also tried the 6 digit defaults as well as the master user code and none of them are accepted.
What do I try next?
Thanks.
T.
UPDATE:
Here is a bit more info:
I simply moved the wires, one-by-one, from the old board to the new one. I have only 1 keypad.
I have tried removing all other connections from the KP terminals (I suspect that the motion sensors were getting power there) and I have even connected the KP directly to the board (eliminating the house wiring as a variable).
Is it possible that the KP is bad in such a way that it reacts correctly to the '*8' but not to the '9713'?
