Programming controls of the keypad

Trying to fine tune my Elk rules right now. However the "THEN" options seem to be on the lean side of things. I do not see how I can enable/disable the chime for a SPECIFIC keypad, or how to control the backlight of a keypad. Also is it possible to control the lights of a key on the keypad? Example could I have a rule set that if there is a Zone Trouble have it blink the F4 key?

Thanks

Click on a keypad in RP2 and you cane select an illumination event for each F-button based on troubles, alarms, zone status, output status, etc. Then you check the box that says Blink Light to the right.

Odd that you do not have access to this via the Rules engine. However that seems to solve that issue I want to do. Now if I could control the backlighting and chime per keypad based on a condition. Basically I want to turn the Master bedroom backlighting OFF when the alarm is set to night mode. I can of course set that keypad to always have the backlight off, but that is not want I want. I want to be able to be reminded that the alarm is NOT in night mode by seeing that bright keypad in the bedroom.

Already asked Brad and Elk about the lighting dim based on rule/time/etc., not possible.

I set my system to auto arm in night at a certain time, but I'm running a full perimeter and also have arm/fault on the 3 doors I typically have open during the summer, however I close them when going to bed.

I keep the lights pretty dim in the MBR, but I do still have it lit - I prefer to know what's going on at a glance. Wife can't stand lights on but she learned to live with it. I want to be able to look at the keypad any time day or night and know the status.

It would be nice to have more control per keypad - like volume of the beeps, light levels, etc - based on rules... hopefully the next panel (whenever that happens) will be able to do more.
