RadioRA2 and hai or elk, any working installs?

Make sure the serial port jumper is in the 232 position. Make sure the connector on your wiring is oriented correctly so that the wiring is not reversed. Perhaps use Windows terminal to monitor the commands from the controller or to control the main repeater directly.

Hi Brian,
I was able to connect the hai panel with the main repeater.
I assumed that the rs232 only used 4 wires, but I tried a different cable last night after moving the repeater next to the HAI panel. The connection takes 6 wires.
To connect the HAI and Lutron main repeater I used a cat 5 with Rj11 connectors and a serial connectivity adapter on the repeater.
So my pinout used is white blue, blue, white orange, orange, white green, green and I had to reverse the order on the other end to green, white green, orange, white orange, blue, white blue.
The Omni was set to RS232.

Joe,

I'm glad you got it to work, but you really only need four conductors. I suspect that your initial cable was miswired somehow.
