Guys,
A lady at our church just approached me asking about a camera/DVR system for the new thrift store they are completing. It's a 50,000 sq ft but I'm not sure that matters. What would you guys that do this for a living recommend for a quality camera/dvr system? Thanks in advance.

If money is no object, I'd look at a minimum of 16 or 32 cam setup. NVR would be ideal, as would IP.

Otherwise you're looking at analog with a minimum of a single 16 channel DVR and 16 channel power supply.

Depends on what they want to do with it really, quality and budget.

Go to cctvforum.com . They'll help you out. Most will recommend Dahua. I bought one based on their recommendation and I love it.

If money is no object go with Dedicated Micros dvrs (digital sprite2 or BX2). 16 camera minimum for that size facility you mentioned. 16 camera power supply. If however, you want to go on a budget try samsung dvrs(srd series). They are ok and are cheaper. You could also use 4/8 cameras instead of 16.

Thank you,
Chris Clark
