Redundancy/Fail over with M1 Gold

Hello friends and community members

I own M1Gold model and have successfully used for few years. The system is few years old and I'm looking to set up some kind of fail over or redundancy.
I'm looking to configure two units side by side and if one fails the other one would pick up the failure and take place of the failed one.
Is this possible to configure? Please advise. Thank you.

That's an interesting goal - and basically unheard of in the alarm industry - or at least for standard residential/commercial (maybe banks have more?)... may I ask - Why?

You can put in redundant sensors on separate zones, use dual sirens, dual keypads, and redundant telephone lines. But having true failover redundancy would be pretty difficult.
Another choice would be to install two systems in a redundant fashion with separate sensors, sirens, batteries, and keypad, but they would not be failover redundant, just redundant.
