The whole android screen is taken up by the the remote desktop. The resolution is not changed. Instead it overflows the android screen. By this I mean the android screen can only see part of the remote desktop at a time, but it is very intuitive and easy to navigate around the whole desktop. I suppose if you need to see the whole desktop at once it wont work, but if you could see it all at once you wouldn't be able to read anything.
Does the RDP client ever disconnect itself and will it auto reconnect if the wifi signal is lost? I take it there are no clients that autofit the desktop?
I'm looking for something similar to use on an android tablet. My main criteria in an RDP is the ability to reconnect and resize to fit... If I get this to work well on my phone, I just might have to buy an android tablet
just got a samsung epic 4g. just tried out polarcloud from wyse and it works well. this is a free version with a 1 host limit, which works for me since i have only 1 machine i can rdp to.
edit: it's pocketcloud. polarcloud is the site that hosts tomato router firmware

I have been trying this app lately as well and it seems to work well. I also use android-vnc-viewer and have had good success with it though the mouse clicks with the finger don't work as well as the app from wyse.
