Renaming the I/O

Is there any way to rename I/O i have looked in the forum but havent found any definite answer.

If you use android app to control WC8, that allows to rename its IO. However, web gui has no easy way to rename it, because not only GUI name being seen on screen, but also in email notice, as well as in PLC logic/compiler. 
 
If all you want is rename the web GUI, for WC32, you can get GUI source and modify it yourself, and regenerate the web GUI.  But that will not change the email notification and PLC logic.  WC8 has no easy way for user to modify the web GUI.

Hi thanks for the reply wher can i get the GUI source code all i need is to change the names in status overviews don't need to change the PLC logic and i dont use the emails so should be simple enough?

Yes.  If all you need is to look over web gui, yes, that is true.  Please note WC8 web gui code is not open, only WC32 is open to any customer.
