Replace existing thermostat with HAI OmniStat

I don’t know if this is the forum to ask this question but I’m trying to replace existing thermostat controller with of HAI omnistat and connect it to OP2 for automation.

I have a Nordyne Model GB3BM-030K-A-10B Air Handler that is used with a Nordyne JT3BA-030KA(2.5 ton) -048KA Split System Air Conditioner. I’d like to replace a Braeburn Model 1200 wall-mounted thermostat with a new HAI OmniStat Programmable Thermostat RC-2000 or RC-1000 and connect it to OP2 controller for automation. I know that both thermostat will work with HVAC system I have. My question is that I’m not sure whether I have a conventional HVAC system or a heat pump system? I choose RC-2000 over RC-1000 but if my HVAC system doesn’t have humidifier and dehumidifier I don’t see the reason of spending more money on it. Again I don’t know if my HVAC system is equipped with humidifier and dehumidifier?

From Air Handler, there are 8 wires coming out of the wall but only 7 of those wires are connected to Braeburn thermostat. The wire colors are R, O, B(Brown), B(Blue), Y, B(Black), G, W. The brown wire is not connected to Braeburn.

Braeburn thermostat, only 7 wires are connected to the input terminals– R, O, B C, Y, E, G, W2. There is wire connected to all terminals expect to B input. I don’t think any of these wires are related to humidifier and dehumidifier.

The wiring diagram from air handler to Braeburn is as follows:
Air Handler Braeburn
R -- R
O -- O
B(Blue) -- C
Y -- Y
B(Black) -- E
G -- G
W -- W

Anyone has any idea or suggestion Or maybe I must be missing the whole point of humidifier and dehumidifier that RC-2000 comes with?
