I have a client with existing 5.7e Touchscreens, 4 analog cameras and a dead 68A00-1 HAI Network Digital Video Recorder.

Those that know that product, know that the DVR takes analog cameras in encodes them into IP stream.

What have you been installing to get this functionality?

Should I just force him to update the 5.7e touchscreen and use the new android based touchscreen?
What options do we have then? I haven't played with any IP camera stuff...yet.

EverFocus will do the job. Will convert Analog to MOTION J PEG
And a 4 channel model will generate 4 separate streams or just one - main one?
Do you have any specific model numbers?

I would suggest and Axis 4 channel analog to IP converter. Works perfectly with OT 5.7e/ OT Pro and OT 7 , each stream has it's own independent IP address and simple MJPEG cgi? request stream along with sizing. They are a bit expensive but work great. For recording, use Samsung stand alone DVR. I use geovision along with a PC and an interface back to the Pro II to toggle devices and respond to inputs.
