Residential break in statistics

There used to be a series on the Discovery Channel called It Takes a Thief (different from the old Robert Wagner series from the 60's).  In this semi-reality series, two guys break into houses and show how it is done.  They found many ways in that I would never have thought of, like dragging a BBQ grill and placing it up against the house and using it to climb up to a low roof and gain access to an open 2nd story window.

If you haven't seen it before, you can still find a few episodes on YouTube, etc.

The company I worked for during that era was on the show multiple times...I had a couple of installs that were "featured" in addition to others. Filmed in my locale.

Statistically, the most likely place of entry has historically been the front door. Believe both the FBI, NBFAA and others have enough out there to back that up.
