I'd like to see some intelligence built into them on the idea of not just randomly going around the room, but instead analyze the room and its travel to determine which areas had been covered and which areas still need to be vacuumed. Maybe that means the add-ons will have to be radar or ultrasonics or accurate distance measurements, and an AI brain...
